The Industrial Workers of the World, also known as the Wobblies, is an industrial union that organises all workers. We are against divisions in pay, pension entitlement and job description privileges, which divide rather than unite us.

Founded in 1905, that IWW provides an alternative to the centralised, hierarchical trade union model. At the same time, we link our principles and actions to a broad range of immediate and long-term needs and rights of the international working class. We are an alternative to ‘unions as usual’. We fight for a horizontal, rather than the top-down, model of organisation and action. We may be just what you are looking for!
